OPERATION “North Star” Leg 7


The entire crew and equipment has been successfully transferred to Dar Es Salaam.

The SAVAF Transport Squadron’s help is urgently required. After some recent incidents in Tanzania, some of the people to the North require urgent medical supplies and airlifting back to Dar Es Salaam.


Scramble from Dar-Es-Salaam and route to Kisauni, Chake Chake and Tanga, to land at each airfield and drop off supplies as well as to pick up casevacs. Route back to Dar Es Salaam.


Scramble from Dar-Es-Salaam (HTDA), Hdg approximately 005*, and 3500’ to land at Kisauni (HTZA).
Take off from Kisauni and route Hdg approximately 033*, 1500’ to land at Chake Chake (HTPE).
Take off from Chake Chake and route Hdg approximately 283* 2500’ to land at Tanga (HTTG).
Take of again and route Hdg approximately 178* to recover to Dar Es Salaam (HTDA)
